About us –
Jocke & Malin Ljungberg
We are Jocke and Malin Ljungberg and have lived in the idyllic village of Gnisvärd for nearly ten years – a decision that has shaped both our daily lives and our passion project. Here, close to the sea and nature, we found the place where we wanted to put down roots and create something of our own. Sommarladan is part of our home (though separate and private) and part of old farmland, one of the oldest in the area.
Jocke works as a solar energy consultant, combining his environmental commitment with technical expertise. He is also heard on commercial radio, where he is a presenter and DJ on various stations, sharing energy and personality every day. Malin has a background as a business owner and currently works as an administrator at a regulatory authority – a role where structure and attention to detail truly come into play.
Together, we have developed SOMMARLADAN into what it is today – a place we are very proud of. With lots of time, love, and care, we have created a warm and personal environment where both adults and children can feel at home. As guests, you have access to a private plot with its own driveway and ample space for play and socialising – something we have prioritised to create a relaxing and open atmosphere during your stay.
Rambo, our little Jack Russell, also lives here. He mostly keeps to himself but can occasionally be spotted from a distance.
Over the years, we have been delighted to welcome many returning guests – something we consider the highest compliment.
